I was born and raised in Brazil, and have been living in Florida since 1999. At that time, I didn’t drive or speak any English! It was a tough beginning, to say the least. However, overtime, I was able to overcome the obstacles and I grew to love this country as well as the opportunities presented to me.

I am a proud mom of two amazing, smart and beautiful girls. In 2001 I made (in agreement with my now ex-husband) a very important decision: to stay home with my child and nurture and watch her grow.

Despite of the financial struggles, that was certainly the most amazing opportunity of my life! I have always wanted to be a mom, and now I was blessed to be able to closely watch her grow and really get to know her!  I have learned, and still am learning, so much from both of them.

My daughters are extremely passionate about reading! I actually still have fun (sorry to admit!) watching them bump into walls or trip over something left on the floor because they won’t let go of their books while they walk! Whenever they misbehave (yes! they do that too!) I just need to threaten to take the bedtime story away and they go right back to their regular selves. lol

Why Blog?

Becoming a blogger was certainly a far far away dream for me. But witnessing my daughters’ beautiful, creative minds inspired me to start writing and sharing our experiences and ideas. I also want to set them a good example, and make sure they understand that we are all very capable, and that there are no limits when you commit yourself to doing something good in your life.

These girls of mine are ALWAYS up to something! So, why not share some of our adventures?
